Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how Danbury Dental Care Ltd ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies on danburydentalcare.co.uk ("Website"), and your choices regarding cookies. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can help a site function correctly, remember preferences, provide analytics and measure advertising.
Cookies We Use
Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for core Website functions and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ddc_cookie_consent | Remembers the cookie categories you have accepted or rejected | 12 months |
| ddc_patient_lead_type_pending | Carries the type of successful enquiry to the neutral thank-you page | 30 minutes or until used |
Functionality Cookies
Functionality cookies can remember optional settings that make the Website more useful. We do not currently use a service in this category, but it is available as a separate preference if that changes.
Analytics Cookies
With your permission, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve it. Clarity does not load unless you allow analytics cookies.
Advertising Cookies
With your permission, we use Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API to measure advertising performance and understand which campaigns lead to enquiries. These services do not run unless you allow advertising cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ddc_meta_contact_event_pending | Carries an opaque deduplication identifier to the neutral thank-you page; it does not contain form or treatment details | 30 minutes or until used |
For Meta measurement, our website server records consented page views using a generic Website URL. The browser Pixel does not send PageView or Contact events from treatment or campaign pages. After a successful enquiry, the browser event is sent only from the neutral thank-you page. Where browser and server events both run, they use the same anonymous identifier so Meta can count the event once. Server events use the request IP address and browser user-agent, but do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, form answers, treatment interests, campaign details or full page URLs.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage each optional category separately.
You can review or change your choices at any time using Cookie Preferences in the Website footer. You can also manage stored cookies by:
