What is Airflow Teeth Cleaning?
Airflow hygiene treatment uses a controlled jet of warm water, air and fine powder to remove biofilm and selected surface stains. It can be used around natural teeth, restorations and implants when appropriate.
You can book an Airflow visit without seeing a dentist first. The hygienist will assess your mouth at the appointment and explain what the treatment can address. Airflow costs £112 per visit and is included within the existing Airflow Plan at £20.35 per month.

A Targeted Hygiene Appointment
A disclosing dye may be used to make biofilm visible before cleaning. This helps the hygienist target areas that need attention and give advice for cleaning at home.
Airflow can remove selected stains linked with food, drinks and smoking, although the visible change varies and it does not whiten the natural colour of teeth. Hand or ultrasonic instruments may still be needed where there are harder deposits or other clinical reasons.
