About the treatment
Invisalign Clear Aligners
Invisalign uses a planned series of removable clear aligners to move teeth gradually. Digital scans are used to plan treatment and show a simulation, but the preview is not a guarantee of the final result. Aligners need to be worn as instructed and removed for eating and cleaning.
Dr Adam Carstairs (GDC 75063) has completed over 400 aligner cases. Your assessment covers the teeth, bite, gum health and whether aligners or another orthodontic option may be more appropriate. Treatment time and the number of aligners vary. Removable retainers are included in existing plans.

Clear aligners may be used for selected crowding, spacing and bite concerns. Their suitability depends on the movements needed and on being able to wear them consistently. Fixed braces or another approach may offer better control in some cases.
Aligners are designed to be discreet, but they are not completely invisible and can affect speech or comfort while you adapt. Reviews allow Dr Adam to monitor progress and decide whether changes, refinements or another step are needed.
